Rocky Mountain Riders prides itself in offering its customers the best value. Our wide variety of packages allows you to customize your trip to find just what you are looking for. We offer everything from extreme back country snowmobiling and sled skiing / snowboarding to family tours and ice fishing tours. All tours include all the gear necessary for your day out with us. Full day tours include lunch. Half day tours include snacks. All tours include transportation to and from Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louse, if needed (min 2 people for transportation). Full day Kicking Horse Snowmobile Tour
Yamaha Phazer 500cc and Ski-Doo Grand Touring Snowmobiles
This tour is based right out of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, along with the rest of our tours. The trail heads down the Columbia Valley, where you will enjoy exceptional views of the Purcell and the Rocky Mountain ranges. Your guide will lead you through our exciting trails to Wiseman Lake, where you will enjoy a lake side lunch at one of the most beautiful settings in the area. After lunch, hit the lake for some play time on the snowmobile before exploring more of our trails. This tour is 5 hours and is not exposed to any avalanche danger. It runs daily starting at 10 am till 3: 30 pm.

Enjoy this personally guided tour through our trails to Wiseman Lake. Stop along the way for a quick break with a cup of hot chocolate and some cookies, just before hitting the trail again to explore more of our winter wonderlands. This tour is 3 hours and is not exposed to avalanche danger. Half day guests will be required to wait until full day guests return from snowmobile trip for return transportation to Banff. |

Extreme Back Country Tour Packages
Skidoo Summit Rev XP 800cc, Arctic Cat M8 800cc and Yamaha Nitro 1000cc
If you’re looking for some major excitement and want to go where the pros go, this is the tour for you. No experience needed. We will take you to where your ability allows and maybe a bit further. If you’re new to snowmobiling we will show you how to ride and play in the mountains, while exploring some amazing riding areas. If you’re very experienced and just want to find the best areas to play, while staying safe in avalanche terrain, we will show you where we go on our days off. Stop to enjoy your lunch on top of the mountain while you take in the 360 degree views. All of our guides are fully trained in First Aid and Avalanche terrain and rescue. |

Evening / Moon Light Tours

Evening / Moon Light Tours with Dinner at the Corks Restaurant
>Enjoy a personally guided evening tour through our beautiful and remote moon lit trails, before finishing the night off with a magnificent dinner at Corks restaurant, located in the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Village. This tour is the same as our evening / moon light tour only it includes dinner.
All evening tours are approximately 2 ½ to 3 hours long, starting between 5:00- 5:30 pm and ending between 7:30- 8:30 pm. Then it’s off to Corks restaurant for dinner. Menu’s are provided at the start of each tour and are available in advance, as well. Different start times are available; please contact our office a time that best suites you.

Ice Fishing
Enjoy a personally guided snowmobile tour to one of our favorite ice fishing spots. Let your guide auger holes in the ice for you, while you rip around on the snowmobiles. Relax and put a little bait on your line and try to catch the big one. Take a break from fishing by sitting around a camp fire enjoying your lunch, then a bit more fishing and exploring. 2 snowmobile minimum. |

Rocky Mountain Riders also has guides available for private snowmobilers with their own sleds. The cost is $400 a day for 1-6 riders and $800 a day for 6-12 riders.
We recommend for proper fit and comfort, you bring your own:
- Snowmobile suit
- Good insulated snow boots
- Warm winter socks
- Warm winter mitts or gloves
Everyone should be prepared for winter weather conditions and temperatures. Don't forget to bring your camera, sunglasses and sunscreen!
**All tours include lunch/snacks, avalanche gear (only for the back country tours), helmets, gas & oil, as well as transportation from Golden to the trail head.**
