Damage Deposit – Trail Tours
We do not require a damage deposit for our Kicking Horse trail tours. A credit card number must be provided for any damages incurred prior to departure. We offer collision insurance for $25 per sled, which will cover you for any damages up to $300. Without insurance, you will be held responsible for any and all damages and liable for up to the full cost of the snowmobile.

Damage Deposit – Extreme Back Country Tours
We require a damage deposit of $5,000 per sled (or $3,500 if you purchase insurance) upon arrival for the tour. Please physically bring your credit card with you to process this pre-authorization prior to your departure on the tour. We offer collision insurance for $50 per sled, where you will be responsible for the first $3,500 of damage repairs and then thereafter all further costs will be taken care of by Rocky Mountain Riders. Without insurance, you will be held responsible for any and all damages with the $5,000 deposit and liable for up to the full cost of the snowmobile.

Rental sleds require a deposit of $5,000.00 at all times. The security deposit is fully refundable upon return of an undamaged machine. Please note that we do not charge your credit card for the deposit but hold the amount as a pre-authorization for security.
