We had a shuttle bus sit at the base and drive people back to their accommodation when they had got off the gondola through the event. They were really easy to deal with and even helped get a sick guest home ok. Would recommend them highly as an addition to provide transport for guests after a wedding up at Eagles Eye. Many Thanks!Z T2023-04-04I recently did the intermediate snowmobile tour and it was the best day ever! Have snowmobiled a few times so was keen to push myself but was not confident enough to do the full backcountry tour yet. Bastion made us feel super safe and comfortable and it was such a great intro to backcountry! Loved ripping in the powder l, will definitely be back next year! Cheers Callie for getting us booked inBrenna Herridge2023-04-03I had the absolute best day with guide Joe. The customer service and friendliness cannot be beat. 10 out of 10 would recommend.Cameron Littlejohn2023-03-27So much fun - great day out!Peter Lister Cunliffe2023-03-19Absolute best time today on the extreme tour. Joe, our guide was great at getting the best out of our ability and we got to some breathtaking places up steep hills to distant backcountry Kaiden with deep fresh snow. If you are in any doubt at all about booking with this company….do yourself a favor and pick up the phone. It’s a day I’ll remember as one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. And I’m old and have done a lot! 🤣Dub Siren2023-03-19Excellent tour! I was very surprised that the extreme tour was actually extreme and testing and fun. It was what it said it would be. I was slightly apprehensive given some peoples reviews about charges but the team were very professional and even though I did have some rolls the machine was fine and no charges. I certainly didn’t get the impression they were out to scam anyone and they were very fair in describing the situation so we were fully understanding. I can understand why you need insurance and a lot of checks when you are doing an inherently risky sport with very expensive gear. Anyway - my main point is that I usually go on an advanced tour and find them boring. It was a breathe of fresh air to be challenged and to learn a lot and get a real adventure as described. Thanks folks !Mark Olivito2023-02-26Had an amazing day with our guide Joe. He gave us so many tips and skills to improve our riding. Felt very safe out in the backcountry. Beautiful scenery. Everyone needs to do this trip.Stefan Astley2023-02-25We had a great time with Rocky Mountain riders on a full day tour! We got picked up at the agreed time from Canmore in a Chevy Express and Dutch Bastienn our driver/tour guide was very good right from the outset. When we got to the resort checking in was easy, and we got kitted up in some extra gear. Whilst their website does say bring everything you can, they have a fair selection of rental items to improve your comfort on the trip. We were then given a 15 min intro to the equipment and the instructions, and followed Bastienn out. He went at a fair pace for us (a group of 4 beginners) and kept a watchful eye. Hot chocolate and a cookie around 45 mins in, then some more riding to the beautiful lunch spot (what3words spot ///blissfully.uncrowded.beehive). Then a ride back to the first stopping spot for some free riding. We then got back to base, and into the van and home via a quick stop to purchase any coffee/snacks etc for the drive home. Transfer to/from Canmore was 2 hours. I'd give the overall experience about 4.8 stars, the 0.2 is agreeing to some extent with other comments and reviews... Yes they do take a damage deposit, and yes they do take your card details. But if you consider how some people may treat their equipment I can understand why. Our equipment went out in good condition and came back in good condition as we looked after it, and hey - we didn't get "screwed" in any way. As some feedback for RMR the reviews were a bit worrying to read, so it would be good to know what changes RMR are considering to address those concerns as it was a great experience, and we very nearly didn't do it because of those. It was the complimentary shuttle from Canmore that ultimately swayed us as we don't drive in snow much from the UK! Transparency on the insurance, likely coats of common parts in the event of damages and taking, storage, and destruction of card details would really help.
